Though Batam literally has nothing to do, and Mik did warn us not to expect too much, but i like the environment! not that i like messy places, but i find their kampong areas very interesting. It's my first time seeing so big chunk of kampong areas. haha.. Very nice to take pictures of their life there, cos you'd never see it in singapore.
We 'rented' 2 taxis with drivers, and roam around batam. Was quite difficult cos of language barrier between the driver and us. It was quite funny when mik asked him question A, and he answered answer Z. LOL. x.x
Went to GO KART first. The xxms (xiao mei meis) didnt play, and neither did david. So we just rot at the tables. I was quite interested actually, but later when i see them play, i'm glad i didnt play. dont look interesting anymore..haha..

Had lunch after that. The scary thing in batam is that you'll never know when you'll get conned. and you'll get conned in every possibility. Lunch was quite a difficult one. haiz. David was afraid that we get con, and argued with the rest. cos mik thinks it should be okay, and thinks they wont con us. So the arguements lasted for a while. and david decided not to eat. Everybody was uneasy. we just ate a lil though.
After that we went shopping. SHOPPING IN BATAM??? you must be thinking we're crazy. yeah, you're right. lol. there's nothing in there. the only thing that we were so excited about was, --> A&W. We had waffle ice cream and root beer float.

hmmm.. after that we went to look at the seafood place. Thought we were going some keilong or what.. i thought it'd be interesting to eat at the keilong (those run down and old old kind). but the place that the taxi driver brought us to was a nice nice one! which we didnt really feel like eating.. but anyway, i dont mind lah..

in the end, we decided not to eat, cos mechie mentioned that it's not worth it. the crabs are selling more expensive than singapore. took a group photo, and *poof* we went back to the ferry terminal.
