FEELIN SO JAZZZZYYYYYYY!!!!! i wanna go victoria pub at bugis! so niceeee .. and the pub at suntec (the old olio there), and the live jazz pub.... chill chilllllllllll...

This week has been quite **. what's **? forbidden words, i cant afford to risk and say it out. hidden code between ourselves. LOL. x.x
This week got a email from a company offering freelance web design job. I called back, and designed a mockup yesterday. Was accepted (if it's in ape, dont think it'll be accepted. hahaha :x), and i'll be meeting the guy tmr. Hopefully i'll clinge the deal. hiak. kinda excited, cos it's my first freelance job. hurrrrr.
I adopted the typical coporate websites layout actually. It's urgent, and within 2 days , i produced the mockup. so.. what to do right. x.x
Was asked to design another mockup for another website. I thought it'll be good to handle 2 web projects. But after thinking for few hours, i think it's not feasible. lol.. i'll be dead mann.. messaged yuan ting see if she wants to handle it. heh.. good experience for coporate websites ma.. hopefully the guy will let her handle it..

Took sick leave on fri. Cos i burnt my hands on friday night. due to the greedy me, i scouped soup from the slow cooker..Decided to put on a small saucer and bring it upstairs to enjoy the soup. while handling the bowl, it overflowed to my right hand.. it's damn hot. but i think aiyah never mind, little bit only..so i continued to move. It spilled further to the right hand again.
and of course, the second time i jerked ah! damn hot lo.. boiling soup ehhh...x.x then it spilled to the left hand.. then i slowly put the bowl down on the table. x.x but come to think of it, i'm calm eh? HAHHA..
ya, and it's so hot that it burnt my skin.. esp on the right hand..the whole palm and fingers.. the left hand was half burnt. it was so painful that i teared x.x having a quite-high pain threshold, my bro got freaked out.. quickly got the antiseptic cream and helped me with it..
anyway, it's recovering already..now only my index finger is all still reddish.. heh.. thank God i dont have the scar .. x.x

yes, damn it. The blog's alignment went off in firefox again. Calculated and checked that time already eh.. dont know why. Gotta re-calculate my table widths again. ><
Anyway, it's a happy day for me today. why? cos i spent my money. For the past few months, aren't able to buy a single top to pamper myself. yeah, so today i spent my money right at the beginning of the month. retail therapy always work. I guess everybody has been wanting and craving to spend some $$. Or rather, have something in mind to buy, but always not having the $$. Claurene spent 150 bucks on clothes. Jul spent 400 on her Nikon FM2, and i spent $99 on my Mango jacket, $15.10 on my new shampoo (to curb itchy scalp and hopefully hair loss) and x amount on yuan ting's present (seems early to buy, but i love the thing that i've bought HAHAHAAH, can i keep it for myself? :x) all these add up to near 180 bucks already. gonna calculate my budget again. Hopefully esther wants to share the hair loss product. then i can buy..else 80 bucks is too much for me to afford at the moment.
I MUST PASS MY TP FOR THE FIRST TIME! else i'll be poor-ing for the next 4 months at least. x.x

oh yah, i met tan boon yuen at orchard MRT. tom spotted him first.. then i went to say hi.. haha.. so funny.. cos he really dont look like what he is in school. He went shopping alone to wait for his wife to finish facial. haha.. men are always the more ke lian ones.. always wait for girls to shop, facial, massage blah blah blah..
k, im so damn sleepy. tom booked in tonight. kenna guard duty. poor fella. whole section only he got it. and today he received a letter informing him that he won the lucky draw for the LAY's. a limited edition giant freesbie. -.-

What to do next.

I've been confused ever since graduation ceremony took place. Before grad, it seems like "I'm still in SP". After grad, suddenly I felt so lost. Havent even decide what i want to pursue in the degree stage. I wanted to continue multimedia very much. But when i started work, hearing from david what he has done, it seems to me like it's very the-same as DMMT, except of a higher standard. I was thinking, "huh, then might as well work in the industry for experience and upgrade standard right?"
*rubs chin* Hmmm.. I do want to do music technology as well. So it's either communication design, multimedia, or music technology. But the sad thing is, singapore doesnt have a good music technology industry. Heard from david, that over at Australia, there's a very good music university, anyone knows which is it? He forgotten the name already.
I've been thinking where and what i wanna study. If i were to choose music technology, which what i'm more keen on doing, I have to go over to Australia. If i were to take up communication design or multimedia, I'd put NTU as my priority, to try to get in, else, i'll have to go over to australia too. Lasalle and Nafa isn't much of my liking to study for degree, i guess their diploma and foundation courses are better. So, If i were to go over to Australia, i'd choose music technology already.
It's SO confusing, isn't it? *sigh* I have no courage to go overseas, I hope to get into NTU though. BUT I WANT MUSIC TECHNOLOGY!! >< that's so damn frustrating. how i wish next year NTU could have a music technology course.. it'll be PERFECT.
Talked to Jessical over msn this afternoon. Asked her about the SADM course and stuff. It's seems damn interesting mann.. and sounds stressful too. u know lah, schools always pamper new courses. just like the creative media design in SP. that's so f*cking unfair. k, i'm just jealous. HAHAHA. -.-
SADM SADM SADM.. Hmmmm.. even if i get in, i'll be so afraid. :s Firstly, i'm not from a design course, my drawing is BAD, thinking is SLOW. What i'm saying are so redundant. Let's talk about how to get in. PORTFOLIO. So important. I've not even start thinking how to go about doing my portfolio. and besides, my works need to be revamped. ALL. tough job.
Anyway, i must start on my portfolio collection asap.

Surfed the web recently, decided to check on Natural Source website. I was required to do the mockup for natural source web few months ago. It got shortlisted among the other competitors. I was happy! really. It made me think my effort has paid off (thanks to collegues who helped me along!). But in the end, we didnt get the project. and who knows why. At least I know, 90% it's not about the mock.
The new natural source web was done up already. pretty good feeling on the colours i think. Bad thing is the layout. I'm not a good designer yet, but the layout is really out of place. lol.
Anyway, whatever it is, they have made the choice, i'm just happy that i think my design looks better than the new one. HAHAHAH *bleh* even jul said it's nicer. but doesnt mean the new one is not nice, it's just a lil plain for me.

Haiz. what should i pursueeeeeeeeeeeeee... so lost so lost.. or should i just switch line, and jump over to interior design? my mom will kill me immediately.
