Learnt the term from TBQ.
Anyway, things haven't been going on well recently. Family matters mainly. Tom's family, my own family. Things are always happening at the same time, choking everybody. My group has just handed up our last project, and yes, my summer school is done.
Sigh. I'm so caught in the middle, help this side also wrong, help that side also wrong. But my faith still remains, trust in people I trust still. Except that I cannot take sides, because both sides has their own reasons! well.. will see how things go..
For tom's case, I will still support him, though I worry. But, in any case, who wants to lead a boring life? Who wants to live a life with regrets, without doing things that one wants to do? It's always the opportunities that we're unwilling to give up. Because it's once in a lifetime. You don't want to look back at your younger days, and say, "ahh.. I should have done it.." you know?
yeah. It's just.. how you go about understanding people.

Another thing, my dear friend got into a bike accident just on monday 1 am plus. And I got to know on tues when I msg her, when I realised she's missing! She woke up from her operation on her fractured femur, and informed me on her injury. Was so worried that I went down to CGH just few hours later. Really heartache to see her like that. Just look so painful.. considering that she has a low threshold of pain?
She had tubes in her nostrils, over her face, hands, and a metal rod with small rods sticking into her whole right leg.
She was breathing heavily when missy injected antibiotics into her tube. In agony.
She looked so vulnerable, swollen lips, eyes, bruised arms.
Then she fell asleep, rested for the day.
I visited her today again, and I'm really happy to see her eating with both hands, with appetite. She ate most of the food on the plate, and had a piece of watermelon. Tubes on her face are gone. one bottle of blood from the operation removed, and the drip was removed too :)
I was smiling all the way to see the speedy recovery of her.
Will visit her again tmr.
----------------------------
I think I seriously need a swim, badly.

wooohoo! finally.
I just got back from FTB run2 camp! It was fun can!! :D
Yup, my sydney trip updates:
On the plane:

Reached sydney early in the morning, and we met my sister at our hotel, and whee! we're off to have dim sum breakie

Basically on the first day, sis n her bf brought us to shop around the area, paddy's market, wholesale places.. but didnt really get anything.. cos exchange rate wasn't good. But we had fun playing the toy-catching-machine.

went to the Sydney fish market in the noon ^^

on our way to fish market.. in the tram..

yummmmmy

drooools

yup yup.. then at night, actually we planned to go over to my sis' apartment for dinner, but we were all too tired, so we bought some puffs and settled at the hotel.
-------------------------
day 2
Woke up uber early, for the city tour! It's part of the tour package, so we proceed to Darling Habour for the bus. Darling Habour is soooo beautiful.. reminds me of nemo.. looks like it though.. :)
Anyway before that we had our breakie at the hotel, and i tell u, it's GOOD! Hotcakes, cereal, spiced baked beans, sausage, beacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, milk, english breakfast, mint tea etc. nice ey? I lurrrrve their breakie :)
Didnt really take any photos today, and there are still lots of photos with my bro and sis.. we went quite a few places, including bondi beach.. no pics though..but it's really really nice.. love the icy breeze and the crystal clear sea.

So love their architecture! Just make me fall in love in the structures.
It was a tiring day, we slept at about 7pm sydney time. hahaha.. that's like.. 5pm sg time? lol.. we were really exhausted.. but we had a great day, with all the beautiful views, and the little time we had for the places we went today.
------------------------------------
day 3
Today's contract was breached by Frustration. It was a bad start actually. Mom was so pissed off with the tour agency. Mainly cos we woke up very early too, and went over to Star City to catch the tour bus for Stephen's Port. It was said that something collapsed along the way to the destination, so it's kinda dangerous. But.. the rest of the buses going to other places were all gone by that time we receive the news.
So the mood in the family was quite.. intense x.x dad tried to find alternative..but.. backfired.. so guess what.. we went darling habour to eat Mac first..

It's.. not nice. At least in Japan, i can say that it's nicer than sg cos of the variety of flavours available. err but.. aussie.. hmm.. o-k.
Sis decided to bring us around, take train to another place and shop!

and i saw TOM there! woohoo!

I saw george too haha

tt's not my hand
Yup, and we walked around the shopping centres, and i was soooooo tempted to get a pair of boots even though I won't wear in sg! omg x.x

had japanese food at night, recommanded by sis.
Though it's not as good as in japan (i suppose the japanese have to suit aussie's taste buds), it's one of the nicer food in aussie. :) heart ramen!
At night, we had korean food!

It's damn nice in such cold weather.. woohoo.. and i learned how to eat rice cake ^^
-----------------------------
Day 4
Today was a more fruitful day for us. Went up the blue mountains! Visited the 3 sisters and the _____ valley. hahaha.. oops. i forgot the name. anyway, it was a magnificent view. We were all like "awwwwwwwwww". I'm glad mommy was happy today!

We went down the valley by the roller coaster kind of tram.. but nt that fast .. and went up by cable car.

After the rides, we went to the rotating restaurant for lunch. That's our view:

awsome rightttt
We had a chance to walk down the mountain for a bit..

Went to the australian wildlife after that..

Kangaroos!

WHITE kangaroos! omg.. im amazed

KOALAAAAAAA they're sooooo cute

the one and only which is awake
After the wildlife trip, we're back to our hotel, met up with my sis again, and we went for thai cuisine that night :) best food in aussie. Then we proceed to the supermarket to topup our favourite Pods snacks and gummy sweet. hur hur.
------------------------------
Day 5
Had breakie, and off we go! Towards the airport. We bought 6 dozens of krispy kreme for relatives. Oooh hooo.. that's like alot.. till my bro got suspected that he's keeping something inside the donuts -_-
That's all for our lovely family trip to sydney :)
Moving on strong..

Phew. Just screwed up my marketing exam last week, will be having my last exam on this coming thurs.
The racial harmony event has ended, and I'm glad it went well. It surely lifted a heavy burden off me. Run1 of FTB camp just pass too! and had gone for bondue mock camp already.
FTB was fun.. I remember last year, we were the poor little creatures crawling across the huge canvas sheet with water bombs aimed at us. This time, it was my turn to bomb others.. haehae..
Okay, gotta study for my exam! ta.

I just wasted 2 bloody hours doing something that is not supposed to do. I just feel so pissed. and ANGRY. Seriously, I can use this 2 wasted hours to read up my marketing, and study for my exam. It's seriously a total waste of time. and. I really hate wasting time on stuff, especially when I'm already so packed.
I'm just.. beyond words.
Even the leader is confused, what more can I say?
