Learnt the term from TBQ.
Anyway, things haven't been going on well recently. Family matters mainly. Tom's family, my own family. Things are always happening at the same time, choking everybody. My group has just handed up our last project, and yes, my summer school is done.
Sigh. I'm so caught in the middle, help this side also wrong, help that side also wrong. But my faith still remains, trust in people I trust still. Except that I cannot take sides, because both sides has their own reasons! well.. will see how things go..
For tom's case, I will still support him, though I worry. But, in any case, who wants to lead a boring life? Who wants to live a life with regrets, without doing things that one wants to do? It's always the opportunities that we're unwilling to give up. Because it's once in a lifetime. You don't want to look back at your younger days, and say, "ahh.. I should have done it.." you know?
yeah. It's just.. how you go about understanding people.

Another thing, my dear friend got into a bike accident just on monday 1 am plus. And I got to know on tues when I msg her, when I realised she's missing! She woke up from her operation on her fractured femur, and informed me on her injury. Was so worried that I went down to CGH just few hours later. Really heartache to see her like that. Just look so painful.. considering that she has a low threshold of pain?
She had tubes in her nostrils, over her face, hands, and a metal rod with small rods sticking into her whole right leg.
She was breathing heavily when missy injected antibiotics into her tube. In agony.
She looked so vulnerable, swollen lips, eyes, bruised arms.
Then she fell asleep, rested for the day.
I visited her today again, and I'm really happy to see her eating with both hands, with appetite. She ate most of the food on the plate, and had a piece of watermelon. Tubes on her face are gone. one bottle of blood from the operation removed, and the drip was removed too :)
I was smiling all the way to see the speedy recovery of her.
Will visit her again tmr.
