A Journey To Remember

Baked a classic cheesecake for tom's bday, and this day also marked our 4th year together :)))

Went to buy the core ingredients on 22 Aug afternoon, went home, and prepared the cake

Set the position of the mould, prepared the crust, poured the mixture onto it

1st attempt. Wrong temperature = chao ta

My bro was so impressed with my cheesecake that he said "woah, you still put a layer of chocolate above it, nice!"

I was speechless. hahahahahah but then again, thanks for that compliment.
I tried it, it was o-k just that it's too hard and it has this chao-ta smell together with it.

Yup, anyway, I tried the second time.

At first I thought it's not cooked yet, so I baked it longer than what it suppose to. So a lil chao-ta on the bulging bubbles. This is tom's cake. ^^

I poured the left over mixture into a folded aluminium "tray", and that was the best cake out of the three. ^^ Even my MJ kahkis who came on friday appreciate it! hee hee..
